Level 1


Boxing class designed for beginners and those looking to refine their basic techniques. Each class will include work on building your foundations:

  • Stance

  • All basic punches: jab, cross, hook, uppercut, bodyshot

  • Basic footwork

  • Basic head movement: slip & roll

  • Bag work

  • Partner padwork  


- All equipment is provided, but it is recommended that you have your own handwraps and boxing gloves

- If this is your FIRST CLASS ensure that you arrive 10 minutes early to learn how to wrap your hands and get orientated with the space

Level 2


This class will help you refine, master, and improve your current skill set to turn you into a competent boxer. This class will have a strong focus on Tpadwork and more advanced drills allowing for seamless transition to Level 3 classes. This is a required class for Forge Boxing Team Members. Level 2 will focus on:

  • Refinement of all basics

  • Blocks, parries, feints, & counters

  • Advanced mitt work

  • Back-and-forth partner work

  • Conditioning & bag work


- At least 1 month of Level 1 and All Level Boxing Classes

- Ability to hold pads with basic competence

- Knowledge of all the basic techniques: stance, all punches (jab, cross, hook, body, uppercut), slips, rolls,  and footwork

Level 3



Light sparring, drills, and conditioning for those wishing to step-up their boxing game and/or compete. Class will focus on drills to improve blocking, head movement, & countering, open sparring, followed by pads & conditioning. Step up and join our Boxing Team!

- Required equipment: mouthguard, headgear (some provided but recommended to have your own)

- Mental preparedness for contact and sparring

- Confident pad-holding ability

- Competence in all Level 2 Intermediate techniques: basic blocking, head movement. footwork, long combinations

All Levels


This class is all about getting out there and punching! While there will be a small amount of time devoted to technique, the main focus of this class will be bag work, pad work, and conditioning!


- Though it is not required, it is recommended that you attend at least one Boxing Level 1 class before attending if you have never boxed before to learn the basic stance and punches
